International Van Lines Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the International Van Lines website at internationalvanlines.com (the "Site"), our online quote and booking tools, our SMS text messaging program, and any related services provided by International Van Lines, LLC ("International Van Lines," "IVL," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, requesting a quote, booking a move, or opting in to receive communications from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

International Van Lines is a licensed and bonded full-service moving company specializing in long-distance, international, local, and auto transport relocations. We operate under USDOT #2293832, MC-796971, and FMC #021051. Our principal place of business is located in Coral Springs, Florida.

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use our services, request a moving quote, or opt in to our SMS program. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Quotes provided through the Site, by phone, or by email are non-binding estimates based on the information you provide and on standard industry assumptions. Final pricing for any move is set by written contract and may differ from the initial estimate depending on the actual inventory, distance, services requested, accessorial charges, fuel surcharges, and other factors disclosed in the contract.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when requesting a quote. Inaccurate information may affect the quoted price and the services we are able to provide.

When you book a move with International Van Lines, your booking is governed by the separate written moving contract you sign with us, which sets out deposit, payment, cancellation, rescheduling, claim filing, and liability terms. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and your signed moving contract, the moving contract controls with respect to your specific move.

International Van Lines offers an SMS text messaging program (the "SMS Program") to make it easier for customers and prospective customers to get quotes, schedule moves, and stay informed about the status of their relocation. The following terms apply to your use of the SMS Program and are in addition to the rest of these Terms.

Program description: The SMS Program is a customer care and transactional notification program operated by International Van Lines. Once you opt in, you may receive recurring SMS text messages from IVL, including moving-quote follow-ups, appointment and booking confirmations, pickup and delivery updates, customer service responses, payment reminders, document requests, and other relocation-related notifications. The SMS Program is not used to send unrelated marketing or promotional messages.

How to opt in: You can opt in to receive SMS messages from International Van Lines by (a) submitting your mobile phone number through our online quote form, contact form, or another web form on the Site and affirmatively checking the SMS consent checkbox, (b) providing your mobile phone number to an IVL representative by phone or email and expressly agreeing to receive text messages, or (c) texting a keyword to one of our published phone numbers. By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile phone number you provide and that you authorize any charges from your wireless carrier related to the messages you receive from us. Consent to receive SMS messages from IVL is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with us and the status of your move. You will receive recurring messages while your quote, booking, or move is active.

Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your messaging plan and any associated charges.

How to opt out: You can cancel the SMS Program at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send the keyword STOP, we will send a single confirmation message acknowledging that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive additional SMS messages from the Program. If you want to opt back in later, you can sign up again the same way you did the first time.

How to get help: If you are experiencing issues with the SMS Program, reply HELP to any message you receive from us for assistance, or contact us directly at Privacy@internationalvanlines.com or by calling customer support at 754-547-6333 .

Supported carriers: The SMS Program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No sharing of mobile information for marketing: Mobile information, including your mobile phone number and your SMS opt-in data, will not be shared, sold, rented, or otherwise disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This includes our network of moving service providers. Your mobile number and SMS consent are used only by International Van Lines to communicate with you directly about your move. The only sharing of mobile information that occurs is with the service providers that help us operate the SMS Program (for example, our SMS messaging platform provider), and only to the extent necessary to deliver the messaging service to you.

Privacy: Your use of the SMS Program is also subject to our Privacy Policy , which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

When you submit a quote request or contact us by email, you agree that International Van Lines may send you transactional and service-related emails relating to your inquiry, quote, or move. You may opt out of non-essential email communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at Privacy@internationalvanlines.com .

You agree to use the Site, our services, and the SMS Program only for lawful purposes. You agree not to (a) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through the Site or our forms, (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or any other user's account or information, (c) interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site, (d) use any automated means to access or scrape content from the Site, or (e) send any text message in reply to our SMS Program that contains unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory content.

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the overall look and feel, is owned by or licensed to International Van Lines and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any portion of the Site without our prior written consent, except that you may view, download, and print pages of the Site for your personal, non-commercial use.

The Site may contain links to third party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by International Van Lines. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or business practices of any third party websites or services. We also work with a network of carrier partners and service providers to deliver moving services. Your use of any third party website, service, or partner is subject to their own terms and policies, which we encourage you to review.

The Site and all content, services, and information provided through the Site are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, International Van Lines disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will International Van Lines, its officers, directors, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, our services, or the SMS Program. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars (USD 100). This limitation does not affect any rights, remedies, or liability that arise under or in connection with the written moving contract you sign for a specific move, which is governed by its own terms and by applicable federal and state moving regulations.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless International Van Lines and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with (a) your use of the Site, our services, or the SMS Program, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes to the SMS Program, including any change to opt-in procedures, opt-out instructions, or the categories of messages you may receive, will be communicated to active SMS subscribers before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Site or the SMS Program after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
