Importer(s) are required and responsible for the proper filing of the ISF 10+2. Below are the ISF 10 elements with their brief definition that MUST be filed by each and every importer(s) before the cargo can be loaded onto the vessel and depart from the Origin port; otherwise, CBP can and will assess penalty/fines of up to $5,000 for each violation(s). (*) Importer(s) must file Importer Security Filing (ISF 10+2) 48 hours (we recommend 72 hours) before your shipment can be loaded onto the freight vessel.
(*) Importer Security Filing (ISF 10+2) is SEPARATE from the carrier’s manifest and the broker’s/importer’s entry
